We had 5 adults who were baptized today.... We prayed for our missionaries teaching English out in the Mayan Village of Chan Chen and we also prayed for Alfonso, we are sending him out as a missionary from our church to serve the Lord in South Carolina this summer. You will be hearing more about this in the up coming blogs. Alfonso is 17 and is going to help Ocean View Baptist Church reach out to Spanish speakers in SC this summer. Today I baptized a new believer who is 73 years of ages and we are sending a 17 year old out on mission. If you want to judge the faithfulness of our new church by the young and the old today we passed the test.
